Mr. Maher was a senior vice president for Public Interest Registry’s law and policy. He served as Internet Society’s vice president for public policy. For more than two decades, he was a general counsel for Better Business Bureau of Chicago. In 1999, he was a recipient of the Torch Integrity Award from the bureau. Mr. Maher is a long-time American Law Institute member and has written articles and lectured about online intellectual property and legislations about communications.
